Select a bookmarked tune, bookmark again, and it disappears from list, not ideal but it works 🙂

Sounds good, Lonestar. We’re adjusting to some changes in our studio production setup due to remote workers, but once we get that sorted out, we’ll bump Old Dangerfield up on the list. I’ll take a look at Jesse Polka…seems like I used to know that one.

This looks great! I’d love to see Old Dangerfield released sooner than later. I’ve been working on that one forever and could use some ideas. Also, I’m sure it’s a long way off but whenever you start picking tunes for the next set I would love to see Jesse Polka in there.

Thanks for the suggestion, Christine.
I’ll take a look at Christian as a possible future addition to the site…Kevin talks about Christian fairly often when he’s in the studio…
Thx!

Hi Casey, I am a great fan of Celtic Fiddle Festival in which André Brunet plays. How about adding Christian Lemaître to your wonderful team of tutors. It would give Breton music lovers a chance to learn from a great fiddler.
Thanks for your website, it is really well made. -

Sounds good, Grace. We’ll bump Durang’s up to the top of the production list. The Butterfly Waltz will be next up, UT.
Cheers!

I think I found the missing note .
Right before the E drone and right after the 3rd pos. trill is an open A on the second string I believe

Casey,
In the performance video of Ashokan Farewell around the 2:20 mark you come out of the 3rd position with a triplet (3,2,3,) that appears to go to a 4th finger drone (e note) to a 3/1 double stop D chord I think. I really like the sound of this transition.
Am I missing any notes going from the drone to the 3/1 D chord?
Thanks for any…[Read more]

Hi, UT.
Yes – Brian composed that tune. It’s not really a contest waltz, but it’s a great melody. It would be a really nice film score track. My brother, Peter, just cut the guitar backup for that tune yesterday. Moving forward on getting all of these new lessons produced…stay tuned.
Here is Brian playing the tune:

Hey Casey, I am curious about the butterfly waltz, who wrote this? Tried to find it and only found the title by Brian Crain!
Thanks
