I’m a solo instrumentalist at an outdoor secular wedding – country themed. What would you play? Tunes on this site or elsewhere welcome. No accompaniment so that presents a challenge. Thanks for any feedback from all!

      Hi, Diana. A few ideas:

      Lover’s Waltz
      Ashokan Farewell
      Legends of the Fall
      Appalachian Waltz
      Faded Love
      Josephine’s Waltz
      Really, any waltz…
The Kiss (the last of the Mohicans)
      The Secret Wedding (Braveheart)
      Stars and Butterflies
      Band of Brothers Theme

      Hi Diana,

Here are some of my favs for weddings.

      Lord of the Dance
      Montaigne Processional
      Give Me Your Hand
      Teardrop Waltz
      The South Wind
      O’Carolyns Concerto

If you like Celtic tunes there are some beautiful O’Carolyn tunes.

Hi Diana, Regarding the tune Lord of the Dance it is also known as Simple Gifts. I think YouTube would have most of those I mentioned with someone playing them. Have fun. Roland

This has been fun! Everyone plays each tune a bit different. I will look for that one next.

Hi Diane, that is the fun part, getting the basic tune and adding your ideas with the tune as a guide. Have fun with it. Best R
