My brother, Peter, and I took a break from recording guitar tracks a few months back and cut this. Pete does all of Hanneke’s and Patti’s guitar work here on the site. He’s playing a 1934 National Reso-Phonic metal guitar here. I’m playing my usual axe (made around 1910).

The tune is attributed to Norman Blake, although I haven’t been able to find out if he actually wrote it or just recorded it. Figured I’d repost this since it had been a while.

I’ll likely have to do a lesson on this guy!!!

      Cheers!

Hi, David. Yeah. I really like this one and will likely teach it later this year.

Roland – the tune name is Cairo Waltz.

I wish you would put that one on iTunes so I could listen to it in the car. I love the phrasing!
