Hi, Mark. Thanks for the feedback. I chatted this over with the other instructors and we looked at adding bow markings…we ended up deciding that being super prescriptive might be less helpful than it might seem…I tend to change my bowing based on different licks/embellishments that I’m using, and other instructors also felt that the variations changed bow direction choices and didn’t want to limit the sheet music in that way.
That said, I’ll try to include some markings in my future lessons when they are critical/consistent regardless of the variations that I put in. Again, thanks for the feedback, and all the best, sir!
