My Love, She’s But a Lassie Yet is a traditional Scottish tune played in the key of D. It’s commonly played as a country dance tune and can be heard in many circles under various names (including Tripping on the Mountain). The poet Robert Burns added words to the tune in the late 1700’s. Hanneke Cassel walks us through her basic and advanced arrangement of the tune in this lesson module.
