Depending on which way the wind is blowing, I&#8217;ll sit behind the bait shop or across the parking lot viewing the boardwalk.  Right now I&#8217;m trying to get more tunes memorized, I can&#8217;t just play Sailor&#8217;s hornpipe and Chicken reel all day&#8230;.Mark</p>

I will play the tune onto a recorder and then learn it note to note to get it in my head.  But the best contest fiddlers have so many tunes memorized, which first had to be technically worked out before getting memorized.
